Description

This is a set of print at home activities on traditional Chinese musical instruments. The resources are designed for elementary music (best for grades 2-4, but could be adapted for elementary music classes or homeschool families spanning grades 1-6). Perfect addition to a music around the world unit, or during the Lunar New Year / Chinese New Year!

This resource includes:

• Recommended listening links (examples on YouTube of the instruments and songs)
• Posters with images and info on traditional Chinese instruments  (10 posters in color – use for bulletin board & for reading)
• The same musical instrument posters in black and white (10 posters in b&w – use for coloring and reading)
• Posters on famous Chinese musical pieces (4 posters in color – for bulltin boards and reading)
• The same posters on musical pieces in black and white (4 poster in b&w – for coloring and reading)

• Scavenger hunts in 2 different levels (these are bingo-board style worksheets in 2 levels: 9 questions, and 20 questions with an answer key included)
• Worksheets (2 versions of worksheets on music and instruments of China, with an answer key included)
• Answers are included for all the worksheets
