Description

This is a set of Valentine’s Day printable listening glyphs and worksheets your February music lessons These Valentine’s Day music printables are an easy to use print and go way to enjoy music with your students at Valentine’s Day.

3 versions of each worksheet are included to let you adapt to multiple levels or ages:

  • 13 Listening glyphs using music terms (allegro, adagio, tempo, mood, dynamics, instrument families, genre, etc.)
  • 13 Listening glyphs using non-music terminology (fast, slow, loud, quiet, one instrument vs many, etc.)
  • 3 Listening worksheets to draw and circle (to use with the younger ages)

Listening glyphs ask the kids to color an image based on what they hear in a musical piece. They are a perfect way to practice active listening skills with your class!

This set of Valentine’s Day music printables can be used with any musical piece  – students are asked to write the title of your chosen music on each page. Music is not included, but I’ve linked a playlist on Spotify with love and friendship-themed music appropriate for Valentine’s Day in elementary music.
